Written and directed by debutante Anushree Mehta, the movie showcases the story of Durga, a simple Indian housewife who is a special undercover agent called back to work after 10 years.
However, Durga has forgotten about her spy skills as she dedicated her time to being a housewife, taking care of her family members, including her patriarchal husband. The Chief Business Officer of ZEE5 India, Manish Kalra, expressed his hope that the film will strike a chord with women. The director, Anushree Mehta, stated that her endeavor is to empower and entertain audiences with “Mrs. Undercover,” which is also a tribute to women.
