The Uttarakhand Government has recently launched the Saur Swarojgar Yojna.
This campaign was launched by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawat in order to generate self-employment opportunities. This plan is to aid employment opportunities to the youth as well as the migrant workers who have faced unemployment due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
The Saur Swarojgar Yojna is set to provide employment opportunities to over 10,000 beneficiaries and is also a step towards the production of green energy. Each of the beneficiaries is to be allocated 25 kilowatts worth of solar plants. With the help of this plan, workers can be encouraged to use solar plants in order to perform various activities including farming and the product of crops, fruits and vegetables.
