Bengaluru: Enterprise AI platform Brained has appointed technology veteran Anil Goel as its Chief AI Transformation Officer (CAITO), strengthening its leadership team as the company expands its AI-led enterprise transformation business.
Goel brings over three decades of experience spanning enterprise technology, digital platforms, media, and large-scale transformation. Most recently, he served as COO – Technology at Sony, where he played a key role in leading technology operations, including the company’s integration efforts during the proposed Zee merger. Prior to Sony, he spent 18 years at Accenture, contributing to the technology foundations behind platforms such as SonyLIV and Disney+ Hotstar. His career also includes leadership roles at Rediff, where he worked on its U.S. expansion, and TCS, where he was associated with Microsoft’s Centre of Excellence. He is also the author of Exit Point and Release 2.0.
The appointment comes as Brained accelerates adoption of its enterprise AI platform, enabling organizations to design, govern, and execute business transformation initiatives powered by artificial intelligence.
Akshit Sharma, Founder & CEO of Brained: “Brained is building for enterprises navigating one of the biggest technology shifts in decades. Anil’s track record of leading technology transformation at scale brings tremendous depth to our leadership team and strengthens our ability to help enterprises translate AI ambition into business outcomes.”
In his new role, Goel will work closely with enterprise customers and Tier-1 SI partners to accelerate AI-led transformation, influence Brained’s product roadmap, and build scalable frameworks that enable organizations to translate AI investments into measurable business outcomes.
Anil Goel: “AI is fundamentally changing how enterprises operate, but sustainable transformation requires far more than technology. It requires disciplined execution, governance, and a clear connection between AI initiatives and business outcomes. Brained is addressing that challenge with a platform built for enterprise transformation, and I’m excited to be part of this journey.”
The appointment underscores Brained’s strategy of combining enterprise software with deep transformation expertise as organizations increasingly seek partners capable of taking AI from experimentation to enterprise-wide adoption.
